The controversy is bigger than ever in the HCG industry. Dr. Oz thinks we need more research, but still believes that HCG is showing great results and offering benefits for weight loss, including helping maintain muscle mass. He and many others are concerned about the homeopathic drops not containing enough, or even any actual HCG at all. When I look at the industry as a whole, I worry about the same thing.

 

I was just on Twitter and did a search for HCG to see what the buzz is in Twitterville; to no surprise, it’s the same as it has been for the past year. Spammers are blasting everyone trying to sell HCG drops from random websites all over the place. What I did notice however, is there is a few conversations going around about the worry that HCG drops are not containing any of the actual ingredient in them. New companies are beginning to get actual prescription HCG from Mexico and India and having it sent here to sell online. This is so dangerous and could really end being a huge issue for the overall health of customers and the industry also.

The Fate Of The HCG Success!

The fate of the future of the HCG diet drops industry is in the hands of the FDA and FTC. It seems that success in health and helping others literally lose weight they thought was impossible to achieve is not recommended by the FDA. You know how we all just can’t wait to see what is “recommended” by a government agency that gets revenue from pharmaceuticals and other inhabitants. It’s okay to smoke cigarettes, which are DIRECTLY linked (meaning no doubt about it) to causing both cancer to the user, but also causing cancer to those around them, but OH NO, let’s not allow people the right to lose weight by way of a homeopathic supplement that has ZERO, count them, zero direct side-effects.

 

Okay now that I got that rant out of the way, let’s see what the fate looks like at this point and what the damage has been. The FDA doesn’t make money on homeopathic supplements, most of the labs are privately owned. The FDA issued warning letters to 7 companies who marketing practices were not in alignment with what the FDA allowed and so they are begin reprimanded. They had a set number of days to change their marketing, remove certain claims and “clean up their act” in order to keep selling. So, if you look at any of their sites, they all still sell the HCG, but it no longer states that HCG itself is the cause for weight loss. These big companies have money behind them and don’t really care about the consumer, only about their bottom line. What has happened to the smaller companies that actually care about the customer and their results and overall health. Here is what I know for a fact to be accurate after speaking with several companies directly, watching their actions online and a lot of it happened to my company Vibrant Life HCG.

 

With public statement that the FDA was deeming the homeopathic HCG diet drops to be illegal, yet they did not ask us to stop selling them. This created an interesting whirlwind of events. First, one of my labs that made my HCG drops voluntarily decided not to manufacture it any longer; a decision that I respect and later found out that the FDA contacted them behind closed doors and asked them to stop. Next, I had inventory left and my merchant account closed my account because my business name had HCG in it. No warning, no “hey, we need you to change this or that,” just closed it without notice and leaving me literally without a business overnight. This is a common occurrence all over the place with other companies. I am seeing more and more having the same issue. I was lucky enough to find a new merchant company who disagreed with the practices of my last, but nonetheless it has been an uphill battle.

 

I have been told that an estimated 2,200 people lost their jobs within the HCG industry just adding to the national unemployment number. Wait, so you’re telling me that because the FDA doesn’t agree with a safe supplement to be sold over the counter and online that thousands of people are without jobs? And this all happened a few weeks before the biggest holiday of the year? Yes, that is what I’m telling you. And here is the kicker…the woman working for the FDA that decided to cause this problem, she is obese. I would bet 10 to 1 that if she used the HCG Diet Drops, lost some weight found the success that the millions of other users have, she would promote it rather than hate it. That’s just my observation and that of the 400+ emails I received from people who noticed the same thing.

 

So, what does the future of Vibrant Life HCG look like? I will tell you this, it is extremely bright. While other companies were probably caught off-guard as I was, I did know this would most likely happen sooner rather than later. I have been developing a product to replace HCG drops and my criteria was that they had to be better and offer more profound results. Why Diets Don’t Work and Causes Of Weight Gain

What is the actual cause of someone gaining weight? Is it calories in versus calories out? Is it lack of exercise or fitness? Is it lack of nutrients? How about a “slow metabolism? What if I told you that it was actually a combination of it all, but NOT in the manner that you may be thinking?

 

Why is it that most diets don’t work? Take this into consideration, the average diet lasts 5.5 days, not even one week! Seems like that when the weekend hits, all bets are off. Lack of commitment is the first thing that causes failure. Next, most people don’t have a clue that what they are doing at the gym is actually counterproductive. How many of you, like me had been going to the gym religiously, working your ass off and not seeing the results that you hoped for? I know, it sucks doesn’t it?

 

The fact is that you could have much better results with much less effort if you actually knew what your body wanted and needed. We go throughout most of our lives watching Dr. Oz, Oprah, the News or read magazines that promise us the next shortcut to getting the body of our dreams; but you know none of it works. How about taking a few minutes and understanding yourself first, then taking the action that is needed to get the results you’re after.

 

Here is my first example; do you have a stressful life? Are you busy with work, kids, errands, keeping the house up? Maybe you’re overcommitted in too many areas? If you find yourself on the go all the time as most of us do, then consider finding balance. If you run 100 mph all day, your body will be screaming for the exact opposite of that to create harmony. Take the next 30 days and do more calming exercise such as yoga, pilates or Tai Chi. Now, if you’re the opposite and you have a job that keeps you sitting or sedentary and you happen to come home and sit around more, then you need something more intense and fast-paced to compliment your body.

 

How about food? What do you eat? This is directly going to be related to your body and what you need, AND also what your body responds well and not well to. Knowing about yourself is so vitally important, it is shocking that people will spend hours at the gym, spend money on supplements, but are not willing to learn about how their particular body-type characteristics respond to their actions. For example, while one person may love spicy foods, as I clearly do, those particular foods actually throw my body out of balance and therefore should not be eaten very often.

 

Another interesting example is that a lot of people repeat this common occurrence, “I’m eating healthy, I had a salad for lunch.” Have you heard that nice one before? Chances are that while the salad is a decent idea, salad dressings are usually packed with sugar and oils and large amount of calories. There goes your light healthy meal, PLUS who says that your particular body-type should eat a salad? How are you for certain that the nutrients your body needs is in the salad? Usually we don’t have a clue and so we fall into the trap of just eating what society and mass media has programmed us to.

Creating Your Why!

 

Creating your reason “Why” is a very important part of reaching your goals and this is a topic that is very near and dear to me personally. Everything we do in life and everything we want is focused upon with either vague attention or laser focus and our “why” is what creates the difference.

 

If the doctor told you that you needed to lose 30 lbs or you were going to die, I imagine that your focus would laser pointed at losing the weight. If you were told that you would receive a free box of Cheerios for doing the same, losing 30 lbs, you will probably have less attention pointed at that goal as your reason for achieving is not great enough to inspire you. Does that make sense?

HCG Diet Sleep

An important part of life is sleep and yet for some reason we tend to overlook it when it comes to weight loss. The HCG Diet, while an amazing product with awesome results is still a lifestyle change that requires healthy living. A very necessary part of that lifestyle change is getting enough sleep.

 

 

This is so important that sleep alone could make or break your weight loss goals. I myself often take this one tip for granted and find myself sleeping only 4 hours per night. Now, though I do meditate, I still should be sleeping regular hours for the amazing health benefits it offers. Don’t get me wrong, I am not referring to sleeping for 10 or 12 hours a night and wasting your entire next day feeling groggy. What I have found and thanks to studies done all over the world, the most effective amount of sleep for health, fitness results, weight loss and disease prevention and reversal is 7-7.5 hours per night.

HCG Diet, No Breakfast? Wtf? Debunking The Haters #4

I know we all like to freak out and say that “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” We have heard that and been taught that since the beginning of our lives and yet, do we know why? Is that the actual case or is it just a myth?

 

On the HCG Diet program you are only allowed to eat a piece of fruit and drink your coffee or tea for breakfast and that definitely isn’t enough to get your day started…or is it? If breakfast is so important and this diet is producing results like Debra Roberson’s, who lost over 89lbs and completely changed her life, then why isn’t there a sufficient breakfast? The answer to these questions is not only simple, but it’s brilliant.

HCG Diet And Muscle Loss – Debunking The Haters #3

“Oh geez, really? Here we go again,” that’s nearly all I can think when I get hit with this fun myth. As always, I ask for someone in the medical industry to prove to me (as I have proved the opposite), that when doing the HCG Diet Drops, that a client will lose muscle mass. Show me please that a person will lose more than that of an average person sitting around on their arse all day! The facts are: they maintain more muscle mass than statistics say the average american does via just day-to-day activities.

HCG Diet Doesn’t Have Enough Fiber: Debunking The Haters #2

Does the HCG Diet contain sufficient fiber for proper bodily functions and needs? Well that depends what we consider the right form of fiber, where it comes from and how it is used in the body. I challenge you with these two questions: where should you get the majority of your fiber and how much do you need?

 

The facts are that most people do not know the answer to one or both of those questions. Here is what the American Dietetic Association says that we need for fiber intake per day: 20-35 grams. No offense to anyone in that association, but a 15 gram swing is a lot. What constitutes at which end a person is? Next, why isn’t that information being explained to each and every person? The HCG Diet program consists of two servings of fruit per day and two servings of vegetables per day. The average serving of each of those foods contains 4.4 – 5.2 grams of fiber each, so multiply that times four and you are right within range of the 20 grams per day. And in addition, the fiber is coming from plant sources which is the absolute best for the body.

 

I realize that is on the low end of the scale for what the A.D.A. recommends (though they do not have a governing authority to decide if they are accurate or not) and that may concern you; and to ease that concern, I introduce you to Miracle Noodles.

Debunking The HCG Diet Haters #1: Protein Scare

Time to debunk another one of the HCG Diet Haters favorite complaint about the HCG Diet Drops program. This is a fun one because as usual, those that are the naysayers rarely know what they are talking about (this goes for doctors as well which is slightly depressing, but becoming more and more understood by the general public; hence, why alternative medicine is being sought after more than ever before). Let’s dive into it…

 

For those who don’t study nutrition and the human body regularly, which would include most all of the people on earth minus me, the crazy one; you most likely do not understand the amount of protein the human body really needs. In fact, most people do not even know why protein is important, but as a society we are mass marketed protein products and supplements.

 

Let’s start with just a simple explanation of what protein is for. Protein is required by the body for the growth, maintenance and repair of all cells. Protein is a major component of all muscles, tissues and organs and is vital for practically every process that occurs within the body such as metabolism, digestion and the transportation of nutrients and oxygen in the blood. It is also necessary for the production of antibodies, which fight against infection and illness.
