Creating your reason “Why” is a very important part of reaching your goals and this is a topic that is very near and dear to me personally. Everything we do in life and everything we want is focused upon with either vague attention or laser focus and our “why” is what creates the difference.
If the doctor told you that you needed to lose 30 lbs or you were going to die, I imagine that your focus would laser pointed at losing the weight. If you were told that you would receive a free box of Cheerios for doing the same, losing 30 lbs, you will probably have less attention pointed at that goal as your reason for achieving is not great enough to inspire you. Does that make sense?
When clients and customers tell me they need to lose some weight and want to use my Vibrant Life HCG drops, usually my first question is “why must you lose weight?” You see, we only get what we MUST have, if it’s just a should then we won’t work as hard as we need to in order to achieve it. That drive that sits behind the “must” desire will compel you to do whatever it takes to get it. Here is an example for you: I would venture to guess that most of you who are reading this have never had to skip a meal because of lack of food, lack of resources to get yourself food, nor have you had to live a day or more without a place to sleep. There may an exception, but I would guess most have never had to endure this and my question is why not?
Having a roof over your head and food on the table is a MUST for you and I would also bet that not everyone reading is in love with their job, but because the roof and food is a must, you do what it takes to make that happen.
How about weight loss and reaching that goal you might ask? Give yourself a compelling reason to achieve it. Here is the most common example of an American with a goal to lose weight, tell me via a comment here or on Facebook if you have ever experienced this: you set a goal to lose…say 20 lbs. You decide to diet, go to the gym, work your ass off, sacrifice the food you like and the wine you love and low and behold, 2 weeks go by and…..nothing! Barely any change, just sore from the gym and tired and stressed and sick of doing it. So what happens? You quit and decide it just doesn’t work.
Now, let’s alter that a bit and give you a “Why” you MUST achieve your 20 lbs of weight loss. Being 20 lbs overweight makes you feel terrible, you don’t like the way your clothes fit, you can’t run and play with your kids as you would like, you don’t feel good about who you are, you know that you let yourself get that way, you’re a bad example of health for your kids, you can’t find that special someone because you feel fat and insecure, or worse, you’re at risk of becoming diabetic, having intestinal issues, or other chronic illnesses. Pick the one that fits your feelings and see how it sits within you. Do you get frustrated? Do you feel pissed? Are you embarrassed? Want to change? OR Must you change?
When you find the feeling that gives you the MUST change drive, go with it and dig deep. Know that in order to feel good, love who you are, set a good example for your kids, get healthy or whatever else, you MUST follow through and lose the weight. Every time things get tough and in fact, every morning you need to remind yourself of why you need to achieve your goals. Make it a habit, feel it, dig deep and stay on track. Anytime that you start to consider making a negative choice to eat something you shouldn’t, remind yourself of how bad you will feel if you fail, if you quit or don’t hit your goals to get healthy.
Make it big, make it bold, make hurt when you think of it and feel amazing when you take action because of it. Do this daily and you will not be the quitter, you will be an achiever. We can have anything we want, we simply need a reason why, we need to take action and remind ourselves constantly why we MUST have it. And lastly, of course use the support around you. I am here to help with the HCG Diet drops program and will give any assistance that I can. I am here for you, this is my Why!
